The Many Different Forms of a Kiss By Eliza Knight

I do everything on my phone—email, news, banking, texting, reading, so when I sat at the doctor’s office a few weeks ago, I found an article on some different forms of kissing. Naturally it caught my attention, I love to learn all there is about kissing—for my writing of course.

Well, the article got my mind going, and I want to share with all of you, the different forms of a kiss.

~Blowing a kiss – Kissing your hand and blowing it away to someone. Sweet at parting.

~Peck – A formal kiss on the lips—however, you can make this formal peck, more sensual by lingering, breathing in the scent of the person you are bestowing your kiss.

~Cheek kissing – Can be formal, can be sensual, depends on who is doing the kissing and what the occasion is.

~Kissing hands, wrists, fingertips. This could be seen as formal, or you could make it very sensual. To make it sensual, linger a little too long, add a touch of warm breath, perhaps tickle the kisses flesh with the tip of your tongue.

~Eskimo kisses – I do this more with my kids, not sure the hubs and I have ever rubbed noses. We’ve touched noses and started into each other’s eyes though.

~Butterfly kisses – This is when you flutter your eyelashes upon the cheek of your special someone. It tickles.

~Angel kiss – This is a kiss on the eyelid or right by the eye. So sweet.

~French kiss—This is a most sensual and erotic kiss—using tongues. I love to write kissing scenes… Depending on the emotions you are feeling the kiss can be sensual, loving, a declaration, or it can be erotic, demanding, possessive, carnal. Here’s a from my new erotic release:

Her mouth was warm, pliable and tasted of berries. He swept his tongue inside, swirling with hers. Briana was no virgin to kissing and Drostan liked it. He’d feared a virgin coming to him and had assumed bedding his bride would be embarrassing and awkward.

Briana was proving to him it was going to be anything but that. She kissed him passionately and with vigor. Her tongue searched out his, her lips pressed and slid against his own. He growled low in his throat as her fingers skimmed over the flesh of his abdomen, her nails scraping lightly.

~Kissing body parts (not that part!) – Kissing someone on a sensitive part of their body like the neck, shell of their ear or earlobe, the jaw, inside of their elbow, palm, leg is very intimate and can make someone feel tingly all over.

~Single lip kiss—this is when you suck the kissee’s lip (lower usually) into your mouth and nibble a little.

~Kissing those parts… I need not explain.

~The nuzzle –This is when you kiss, and breathe in your partners’ essence, you rub you nose and lips along their flesh, savoring them.

~The nibble – Taking your kiss to higher sensual level, you lightly nip with your teeth.

~The suckle – Sucking on your partner’s flesh—be careful, sucking too hard can lead to a bruising mark called a hickey.

Well, now I’m all revved up to write! Hope you enjoyed! I would love to give an e-copy of HIGHLAND STEAM to one commenter today!
