It has been a while since I've sat down and hashed out a whole story in one sitting....Even a few pages....I think it has been because I've had a very busy year and life has changed a lot for me in 2010. I don't have the amount of hours I use to.
This week I took all the time I could get and sat down and wrote a short story. Did it feel good to finish something? You bet ya it did. I hungered for the creativity to flow so easily...
When I don't write it feels like something is missing...So with this new start I am looking forward to taking a different approach to the time I do have. Get all I can done if even I get an hour or two a day.
I know authors go through dry spells and writers block...For me I know this was not one or the other..It has been a lack of time and life taking up all the free time....
It does feel good to finish a new story. Even if it is a short one...
