What you get out of it

Whatever "it" is, you get out of it what you put into it. Right? I think so.

Someone recently told me they were impressed by the positive energy I put into something. Fact is, I always try to put positive energy into everything I do. Negative only brings back negative. I don't even like trash talk. It just brings me down. I'd much rather find the positive spin on something, or walk away from it altogether.

That's not to say I avoid all conflict. That's simply not possible, and it's not always the best approach. But I've learned that unless the fight is really important to me, someone else can claim the victory. I've got better things to focus on.

So when it comes to life I think you get out of it what you put into it. I want the good stuff, lots of it, and as little of the bad as possible. I don't know, maybe I've got it all wrong, and I'm just one hell of a lucky gal. I don't think so.

But what do you think? Do you buy into the positive/negative energy thing or do you think it's all just a bunch of hooey? I'm genuinely curious. And don't worry, I'm not going to fight you if you don't agree with me. :)

I agree with you Wendi. When you are positive, positive things will happen.
When you ask for positive energy, you will receive it.
It's kind of like Karma. When you do good, good will be returned to you.
But if you don't...

Here's my favorite saying...
Karma will come back to kick you in the ass.
